2 Feets In (3-0, 118.1 ppg) – Jacky G has started the 2018 campaign right where he left off in 2017. The reigning champ has emerged through the first round of divisional play unscathed, unbeaten, and in control of The Central. Paced by Davante Adams, Saquon Barkley and the returning Travis Kelce, 2 Feets In has positioned themselves nicely in their quest to defend the throne.
Team Thanos (3-0, 127.9 ppg) – Last year’s first and second place finishers begin this year’s first edition of the Power Rankings in first and second respectively. Jay put The League on notice right out of the gate in Week 1 with a 168 point tour de force in the season opener, and continued collecting wins like they were infinity stones in Weeks 2 and 3. Jay will get his chance to avenge last season’s championship defeat in a Week 4 matchup with Jacky G.
So Much Honey (2-1, 131.5 ppg) – Even though he dropped his Week 2 matchup in a narrow 2 point loss to The Commish, Cody’s squad has been arguably the most consistently impressive team over the first 3 weeks. So Much Honey has topped 125 points in each of its first 3 games, led in large part by playmakers Alvin Kamara and JuJu Smith-Shuster. A matchup with Bri Wyatt awaits in Week 4.
The Pecan Sandies (3-0, 116.9 ppg) – The Commish has begun his quest for a 4th title in strong fashion, sweeping the tough Eastern Division and logging his first 3-0 start since 2011. The Pecan Sandies are hoping they have room to grow in the coming weeks, as their hot start has come without 2nd round pick Devonta Freeman and with Antonio Brown yet to have a blowup performance.
Lobster Beesk (2-1, 121.9 ppg) – An impressive start to the year for Meade, whose only defeat came in a narrow loss to the defending champ this past week. Michael Thomas has been the engine of the Lobster Beesk squad, who have topped 114 points in each of the first 3 weeks. They’ll face a desperate Knights of Ren in a key Week 4 showdown.
The Demon (2-1, 109.6 ppg) – Predicted by Yahoo to go winless over the course of the season, Vaf has shown no regard for the projections and boasts an impressive 2-1 record after the first slate of division games. It hasn’t been flashy, but The Demon has managed to post 100 point totals in each game so far this year, and their only loss came in the 168 point onslaught that was Team Thanos in Week 1. Vaf gets a juicy matchup against the winless Meat Mavens in Week 4.
The Knights of Ren (0-3, 119.2 ppg) – If it wasn’t for bad luck, Olsen would have no luck at all through the first quarter of the season. The Knights of Ren put up 125 points in Weeks 1 and 2 and was treated back to back losses, and his 103 point showing wasn’t enough to fend off The Commish this past Monday night. Todd Gurley, Tyreke Hill and company will be glad to escape the gauntlet that is The East, but it won’t get much easier in a must win showdown with Meade’s Lobster Beesk on the horizon.
CAN YOU DIGG IT? (1-2, 110.5 ppg) – It’s been an uneven showing for Frank so far this season, who exploded for 159 points in Week 2 but put up just 92 and 74 points in Weeks 1 and 3 respectively. Christian McCaffrey has been a consistent producer, but Stefon Diggs and Kirk Cousins will need to rebound from their pathetic showing against the Bills in order to help Frank get back to .500 in Week 4. Oh and getting Leonard Fournette back wouldn’t hurt either.
Bri Wyatt (1-2, 107.3 ppg) – After back to back losses to start the season put Brian’s playoff streak in perilous danger, it looked like a Ryan Fitzpatrick dud would put Brian close to the brink of disaster. But then, just as the clock was about to strike midnight, Fitzmagic appeared and connected time and again with Mike Evans to give Brian a stunning come from behind victory over The Meat Mavens. Left for dead just hours ago, Brian will look to carry that momentum into his Week 4 showdown with the early season juggernaut that is So Much Honey.
The Wild Bunch (1-2, 91.2 ppg) – Nicky Diamons and The Wild Bunch pulled off a hell of a heist in Week 1, stealing a tight game away from Daddy Yankee at gun point. No such magic existed in Weeks 2 and 3 however, as Nick finishes the first division go-round with 2 straight losses and as the only team in The League yet to top 100 points. He’ll look to break that streak and climb back to .500 as AJ, DJ and the rest of The Wild Bunch head into a good old fashioned saloon showdown with The Commish and The Pecan Sandies.
HAMMER TIME (0-3, 102.9 ppg) – As if Mark Mark didn’t enough soiled drawers to clean up between himself and little Klucy, he now has to deal with the shit sandwich that is HAMMER TIME’s 0-3 start. Mark’s already gone through team names like they were dirty diapers through the first 3 games of the year, and now he gets a chance to ride on the CAN YOU DIGG IT? roller coaster in Week 4. A-Rodg, D-Hop and the rest of the team need to show up soon or Mark’s season could end in a hurry.
Meat Mavens (0-3, 100.0 ppg) – Just a brutal loss for Big Tony in a self-proclaimed must win game in Week 3. It’s tough to have Patrick Mahomes and his historic start on your team and be winless through these first 3 weeks, but the Meat Mavens have somehow managed to pull off just that. Kareem Hunt, Jordan Howard and James Conner will have to do even more as well to make up for the lackluster receiving core that has butchered Tony and the Meat Mavens so far this season. The Demon awaits in Week 4 as Tony looks to climb out of the gutter.
